Progesterone level

I took my last PIO shot on Tuesday 12/30. Wednesday my progesterone level was 30....today, after being off for 2 days completely, it went down to 19. The nurse said this was fine but to me it seems dangerously low to being below 10....I told her I was very nervous and she spoke to my doctor. They are putting me on Prometrium supplements until 10 weeks. I feel a little better knowing I will be on them...

But still, doesn't 19 sound low and it dropped a lot when I wasn't on the PIO?

my progesterone hovered somewhere between 11 and 14 in the beginning (until the placenta took over) so 19 doesn't seem low at all to me, though if you were 30 previously i can understand being nervous. my dr said it's not really dangerous until it drops to 5, but they treat at 10 because progesterone is produced in waves and they can't be sure that 10 is the low end or high end of the wave.
