Bundle Me Questions

My baby is due at the end of April and I don't know what to do about registering for a Bundle Me.
Originally I had on the regular heavy weight one thinking that they can wear it for up to a year. However, she won't be in the infant car seat for that long and do people even use it in the carriage? If so, I may need to get 2 different colors b/c the carriage is brown/black and the carrier is grey. (I know I'm nuts!)
The other option is to get a light weight one for the fall that she can use in the carrier, but I don't know if that's even necessary. Why do I have to make these things so complicated?!

DD was born in October, so we got a lot of use out of the bundle me. However, she was out of the infant carseat at 5+ months, and it has been in the basement ever since. If she needed a blanket in the stroller, we would just use a blanket.


DC2 is due in May. I am not planning to use the bundleme this time. If it's a little cool out, I will just put a blanket over the baby. The lightweight bundleme never made much sense to me.

That's what I was thinking about the light weight one. So, using it in the stroller in the fall/winter months, isn' t more convenient? I guess at that stage (after using the infant carrier) you need to have them in jackets to get to and from places being that you are not going to have them in the carrier, right?
