I broke the news to my family...
So on Christmas Eve we broke our exciting news to my family!
I bought a onesie and took it to a t-shirt printing place and had "I Love My Grandparents" printed on the front. I wrapped it up nicely and put it under the tree.
My dad is like a big child and wants to open all his gifts on Christmas Eve, so DH said to appease him we'd give him our gift and that was all he could open. So he and my Mom sat beside each other and opened the box.
Well - there was silence and looks of disbelief for about a minute while what they saw sank in! Then my mother kept saying "What...what!!!!" and all the screaming and crying began! It was when my Dad started crying that I lost it!  Even my little brothers were really excited! It made the pregnancy seem even more real, for some reason.
It was a really wonderful moment and I'm glad I waited and surprised them. They had NO idea and were totally shocked. DH and I have been married almost 4 years so I figured they might have had some suspicions!
Did anyone else tell their families over the holidays?

awww that is just so sweet!! We told my family in a similar fashion, but on Thanksgiving. We gave mom a onesie too and it said "50% Mommy, 50% Daddy, 100% Yankee fan"- I don't even think she read it because once it came out of the bag, my sister yelled "I KNEW IT!"

awww what a cute way to tell them!!! I didn't even know I was pregnant on Christmas, too bad b/c then we could have told everyone while they were together. We found out Saturday the 27th, told the IL's and my mom on Monday the 29th.
