Gyno Recommendation please
I'm not TCCing yet, but I just changed health insurance to GHI. My current gyno doesn't accept GHI, so I'm in need of a new one. Please recommend away. I live on the border of Queens/Nassau. I'd like to find a dr. not to far away from here. I figured the best way to find out great doctors would be to ask pregnant ladies....Please recommend and I hope you all have a happy n healthy 9 months......thank u!!!

my friend uses Dr. Christine Melgar in Bayside and LOVES her! I'm starting with a new doctor, they're near Roosevelt Field (Dr. Michael Terrani and Dr. Lisa Geer).

not sure if they accept GHI but I go to Preferred Women's Health and see Dr. David Bergman. They have offices in Great Neck (Northern Blvd & Lakeville Rd) and Woodbury.

I go to Great Neck/OBGyn and LOVE the doctors there! The doctor I primarily use is Dr. Terry Rifkin, but the other two are great too (Dr. Glenn Kaufman, Dr. Anita Sedaty).

I know you said you're on the Queens/Nassau border but I'm not sure if you're on the North Shore or South Shore - in case you're on the south shore, they also have an office in Lawrence.
One of the great things about their office is that they have all the sonogram machines in their office - (the really high tech ones they use for anatomy scans and stuff) - so you don't have to worry about having to go to the hospital to get sonograms done...it's done right there in the office.
They take GHI (that's what I have).
