Collecting $$ owed to a business
Has anyone dealt with small claims court or collections agencies?
Some $$ is owed to my DH's business but we don't know the best way to go about recovering it...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

small claims would be the best way to go if it's under a $5,000. (per delinquent account)-If I'm not mistaken, it's anywhere from $1,000-5,000....I don't think small claims deals with more than that...and I think it's only $10 to file in small claims...
collection agencies often have the policy that they get a 1/3 of what they collect...most lawyers have the same policy...so I guess depending on how much it is...you'd have to see what it's worth to you.....
