I spoke to my nurse...
and I've decided not to start this FET protocol today. I want more than anything (as we all do) to be pregnant yesterday so I am itching to start ASAP but I know in my heart and in my gut that this isn't right... It will be the end of my road financially if this doesn't work, and I will always question if I had stimmed rather than done this if we would've had more chances.
I spoke to my nurse and she's in agreement with me. She is reviewing my chart now and is setting up an appointment with my Dr. on Monday so that the 2 of them (and possibly the other main dr. in the practice I hope) can discuss my stimming again, and if so, my protocol, etc...
I have a very strong feeling that my dr. read something in his notes yesterday that led him to think that I've stimmed twice already, where in reality I've only stimmed once. He had written in his chart after my miscarriage that he would approve my doing a stim cycle rather than an FET... but that was before the methotrexate and everything, so I think in his mind he thinks I did 2 already. Maybe that's why he said the things that he did... Anyway, I'll see where Monday leads me. I have been very happy with him and the fact that I didn't hyperstimulate after my retrieval last time, etc... so now I wait. She thought that maybe his point was that since I don't ovulate on my own that my husband and I really haven't had that many chances to try on our own, but my question back to her was - well isn't THAT infertility in itself then? So we'll see- I'm just glad she's on my side and I know she'll advocate for me!

I am so pleased that this is working out for you. I know how torn up inside you were. I was gonna let it slide but I gotta say it again...so if I only ovulate on my one once or twice a year, we dont have IF problems?

Re: I spoke to my nurse...
I think you made the right decision because you went with your gut instinct which isn't always the easiest thing to do and usually not the quickest route. I know you will have great success and hopefully more frosties!!!!!!

I'm happy for you. You sound like you are at ease with your decision and it's important not to do things without thinking them through.
