More forms????
Ok. I finally picked a ped.
I called admitting at the hospital so that they could update the information in the system.
I casually asked if there was anything else needed from me as I thought the fact that I had registered awhile back provided them with all the info they needed.
I was then told that when I come to the hospital to have the baby, I have to stop by admitting to fill out another form for insurance. I am like ok, you are in labor and have to think about filling out something else. I wonder why these stuff cannot be done ahead of time.
What is the procedure at your hospital when you come in to deliver?

I was told the same thing from my practice. Even though we're filling out the registration forms this week (I'm 37 weeks), DH will still need to fill out forms that day when I get brought in.

My hospital does the same.. They do allow you to go their anytime you want and do the forms in advance. With last pregnancy I had my lamaze at the hospital so I stopped by before and did the forms so that way didnt have to worry about while in labor.. Which Im sooo Glad I did.. I was in soo much pain by the time I got to hospital I couldnt imagine filling out forms.
Im considering going ahead of time again this pregnancy and doing the same.

There are things you and DH will have to sign, its not alot of paperwork, plus they want to go over the stuff you sent in mail and make sure all correct in system.

same thing at my hospital. even though i pre registered, a form or two still needs to be filled out on the day of...i was like...seriously!? ugh...but i guess it has to be done!

It can be. I went there and filled out the forms ahead of time last pregnancy. The hospital was cool with it.
