Shooting Pains...?
I have shooting pains in my va-jay-jay and toushie. They are sharp stabbing pains. I was waiting in line today and thought I was going to have to sit down it was so bad.
Is it normal to get them in BOTH the vag and toushie?

Re: Shooting Pains...?
i have had them a few times....they happen when i'm walking around typically. I've had to literally stop walking because the pain is so bad - but it passes quickly...
i think it's happened about 3 times maybe...

Are you getting them in your toush too? This is a new thing -- I've had the shooting pain in the vag for awhile but the toush is new. Uggghh...

Re: Shooting Pains...?
yes i've gotten them and they hurt so bad sometimes they bring tears to my eyes... but i sort-of remember hearing back in nursing school that theres this part of cartilage call the pubic Symphysis that spreads when we get preggo to hold baby and then prepare for child brith. so i like to thing that its just moving around causing "growing pains"
i have no idea if this is truly what it is but it sounds good.

I've gotten that pain even before my pregnancy. I have no idea why it happens and it really hurts but like Jess said, it usually passes quickly.

Re: Shooting Pains...?
Can you describe sciatic pain? Does it shoot from bottom of your toush to mid back?

this is what I had, it was AWFUL! I think I got it around 25 or weeks, I really can't remember, but I did have to stay home from work a few days ((traveling made it worse)).
Try a heating pad, and stretching, that really helped. The stretch you like lay on your back and lift your knee it your chest ((obviously you don't get it that high with the belly lol)) and then push your knee to the opposite side. Hope you can understand what I mean, DH taught me this stretch and my OB said its good to stretch it out.
Feel better!

I had them also. It was horrible, and I literally couldn't move for like a minute or two. But at least it passed as quickly as it came on! I have not had them in over a month now. I am 25 weeks.
