Re: sinus sufferers
It honestly depends on what your dr. says. Mine will only let me take regular tylenol (which doesn't help sinuses at all) and use a humidifier. I am allowed to use saline nose spray, but unfortunately, that doesn't help either. Sorry....which I had better advice.

thanks!! I know I'll have a whole laundry list of questions for my doctor when I see her in 2 weeks! I'm hoping I can at least take claritin, my sinuses are horrible.

Re: sinus sufferers
My Dr allowed Afrin on Emergency basis and saline spray.
Try a Netti Pot...worked well for me!

Re: sinus sufferers
my OB okayed Zyrtec - i take it EVERY day. It doesn't 100% help with the congestion - but it takes away the HORRID sinus headache that comes with the pain...and for that - i'm thankful!

i tried claritin before the zyrtec...didn't work for me - because it has to be PLAIN claritin - cannot be D...
my OB approved: Claritin, Zytrec and Alovert.
It cannot hurt you to call before the appointment. There should be an OB nurse that you can speak with and get the okay or no way on medications...
good luck & feel better!!!!!

Re: sinus sufferers
I have terrible sinus issues and the only thing I was allowed to use was saline spray. I started using a neti pot and it did wonders throughout my pregnancy.
