Loestrin BCP at start of IVF..

has anyone taken this brand? Dr. Cain started me on it on Friday, day 3 of my cycle. I have been crampy and uncomfortable since I started them, not my usual AF cycle. Just checking to see if anyone else had the same experience.

I go back on 1/5 for a sono and then she will tell me when to start the follistim and menopur (lots more than before).

They had me on Apri and I had mild cramps and bloating the entire time. Really aggrivating! Then there is the acne that I whined about...

Hope you feel better! They only kept me on the BCPs 2.5 weeks.

ETA: We might end up in this together after-all. The soonest I can start stimming is 1/2 - and that is only if my body starts cooperating. Big if.

during my fisrt IVF, I had terrible side effects from the BCPs. As soon as I stopped, i felt fine.

I just took my last dose last night of a different brand for my new cycle. With this one, i only had a couple of headaches, much better.

I'm going in for my baseline US on jan. 5th too. looks like there may be a few of us!
