? about labor for BTDT moms
I feel like I'm not even having any kind of symptoms to possibly go anytime soon. Yeah, I guess I have some swelling still and the baby's movements have really decreased a lot.......but I don't think I am really having contractions or anything. Can it just "happen" out of the blue? It seems like everyone on here who "goes" has all the big, obvious ones happen. I think I am just in a state of denial at this point that it's ever going to actually happen..........

Everyone's bodies are different. Don't loose hope. It might come out of the blue or you might get some symptoms, You've got 4 more days in December!! If not, you'll be a January mommy like me!!! XOXOXO BOTB

Re: ? about labor for BTDT moms
Thanks ladies. I'm not giving up hope yet. I had some spicey soup for dinner, then we watched Borat and I laughed my a$$ off. is moving all over the place now---more than I have felt in the past few days--and I even noticed more pressure and cramping. I guess I am just getting impatient. I see my doctor again on Monday morning at least, and she is not officially open for office hours........maybe she'll have good news for me!

Re: ? about labor for BTDT moms
I had no symptoms to indicate that I would go into labor and then 4hrs. before my scheduled C-section my water broke and I went right into labor. It just happened all at once with no warning.

Re: ? about labor for BTDT moms
I had some contractions on & off, but they were never any where near regular. I wasn't dilated & I had no symptoms of labor. Then at 40w6d I lost my mucous plug & had some bloody show. A few hours later, at 41 weeks, I went in to labor.

Re: ? about labor for BTDT moms
When I went into labor with Jacob, it all happened within 24 hours. First I had spotting, then contractions every 7-10 minutes, and then I lost my mucous plug. This all started the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I gave birth on Monday evening. I seriously thought that I would go past my due date because nothing was happening...and then it just all happened at once!
