What can I take that is safe but will take my pain away?

i had a sore throat the entire week of my bfp... i actually think it was a PG symptom for me!
just some cold water worked for me...
or hot (decaf) tea with honey and lemon.

my old wives tale...that works for my whole family!!!
heat up some water as hot as you can handle gargling with it...
pour half a cup o water in with about alil less then a quarter of a cup of white vinegar...and gargle making sure you hit the back of your throat with it..
if youre having morning sickness already (maybe not though cause youre still early) it may make you wanna gag, but, it works..hth!!

I had a sore throat weeks 5 and 6 (it was sooo bad) and my high risk Dr. told me to take NOTHING! especially that early. So, i would just gargle. But I wouldnt take anything.

Sorry to butt in, but is it bad to take something?? I knew I should have come on here to ask before I did  I've had a sore throat and sinus head cold for the past two days. Today it's horrible. I'm supposed to test next week, I ended up taking something bc it's so bad.

You are in your 2 WW so i wouldnt think it would be as big of a deal, but check with your dr in case. I was 6 weeks and my dr said too many things were in the process of forming at that time (organs, spinal cord, etc) that it wasnt worth the risk. He did tell my if the pain from sore throat was really that bad, only Tylenol, but if I can get away with not taking it that would be better. So of corse, I did not take anything.
