progesterone sup. ever wonder

Ok, you can laugh but this is a real question. These babies take a while to disolve so if you BD, how does the sperm work it's way around and get to the cervix? I decided to insert in the morning and hope they are disolved by night. Just wondering.

Where are you in your cycle?

I've only used the progesterone suppositories after my IUI or IVF and was told not to BD until my beta.

I had an IUI yesterday and I was NEVER told not to BD. THe nurse told me to do plenty of practice. I ovulated early this cycle and think the doctor missed the boat...he was surprised. So, the IUI was the next day...at the end of ovulation. I do natural cycles due to hight FSH. Funny thing, My FSH was 7.6 CD 9, Estrogen 68 and progesterone 8.9.

Anyway, my estrogen and progesterone were low for CD 9, so the doc put me on these medicines. I can't believe they never told me not to BD. I really think I will ovulate over the weekend. Will these suppositories harm the sperm?

I am always told to BD AFTER the IUI...more the merrier was the philosophy!!
