so my father knows
Long story short - - -after a very messy divorce between my parents.....and now that father had remarried a person that is pure evil (so not kidding)---I have not spoken to my father in over a year. I invited him to my wedding and he never replied, nor did he bother to show up.
My younger sister saw him two weeks ago and told him my DH and I are expecting. He basically shrugged his shoulders and changed the conversation.
I am not going to pretend that it doesn't hurt....but I have a wonderful family and awesome husband.
Just needed to vent and get it out....thanks

I'm so sorry. But you're right, you have a wonderful DH and loving family otherwise so just focus on them and your baby.

I can empathize with you. I'm so very sorry he upset you but you are obviously surrounded by so many people who love you and that is what you should focus on. Again, I'm sorry.
