Would you use it?

So, I posted yesterday that I have a bad sinus infection and it seems to have spread to my eyes!!! (its gross.. I know...) Its like pink eye, but not as bad... The Dr. prescribed me Amoxicillian, which I know is okay for us to take, but she also gave me an eye drop. Its called tobramycin... I read the labels and then checked the internet and found some questionable things.. it says, "should only be taken in pregnancy if absolutely necessary." One website classifies it as class B, and one as class D.. I called the dr. emergency number yesterday, and they couldnt tell me.. im gonna call again today.. but my eyes are terrible!!!! would you take it??

Did your OB prescibe it? Did you call the OB to ask. I wouldn't take it without begin sure. But, then again... I would think would be an abs. Necessary situation.

I went to a regular doctor, it was saturday.. I just took one dose because it was so bad and I had to come to work.. I am preparing myself for 8th graders who have never seen me in glasses.. should be an exciting day!

You have to call your OB and ask them what they say.

I'd think this would be an "absolutely necessary" situation, since you can really harm your eyes by not clearing up the infection! You could call your pharmacy to double check if the ob won't give you an answer.

thanks ladies.. I called and he said its fine.. Lets hope these eyes clear up by Thursday!! Ive got plans to go to vegas!
