Afternoon in L&D

Since 32 weeks I had high blood pressure and swelling and was put on modified bedrest. I'm not 39 weeks 3 days and my Pressure has been down the past few visits to the doctor. Since Wednesday my swelling has been really bad. I have just been taking it easy, putting my feet up and drinking a ton of water. Well today DH and I went to CVS and I decided to take my BP while he waited for his medicine to be filled. It was very high 140/114 . I decided to all my doctor and run it by him even though I have my 39.5 week appointment tomorrow. He had me go straight to the hospital to be monitored. My BP was still high when I got there but went down after laying down for a bit. They monitored me to see if I was having contractions as I mentioned I was having tightness in my stomach all day but nothing painful. I was having contractions every 7 minutes. They did an exam and I'm finally dilated 1 CM...YAYYY. I know that does not mean anything but I'm holding onto some hope here. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat which is always very reassuring to know that my munchkin is ok. They did blood work and tested my urine which had no trace of protein but the doctor said that I have a slight UTI which I did not know about and now need to be put on antibiotics twice a day. I went to the bathroom later on when I came home and I had when I wiped (TMI) I have a mucousy discharge that was mostly clear with some red/brown in it. Do you think that was just from the internal exam? I go back to the doctor tomorrow for a sono. I pray that this means that I go into labor within the next few days.
