when should cramping be a concern?
Just curious im 32 weeks and just feeling some mild cramping nothing constant or painful but noticeable. Im chuggin some water now just wonderin when i should be concerned. No bleeding at all. Guess ill just lay in bed some more

YOu shouldn't be cramping this far along. AT around 29 weeks, I was cramping. It wasn't intense but then I read somewhere that I shouldn't be cramping. I called the doctor two days later and they were upset that I didn't call sooner.
You might be having contractions and go into preterm labor. They will likely do an ffn test on you to see if you are at risk for preterm labor. So I would call your doctor. As for me, I wasn't contracting. Good Luck!

I don't agree that you shouldn't be cramping, I have been getting cramping since about 30-32 weeks. Sometimes it's just like menstrual cramping, sometimes it pretty painful but irregular. My Dr. told me what I am feeling is normal.
I'd call your DR and get his/her opinion.

arent you on bed rest?
the cramping is what put me on bed rest because the dr. said it was from the fact that i was 80% effaced and the cramping was actually pressure of the baby on my cervix

I don't agree that you shouldn't be cramping. I have been having consistent BH contractions for several weeks, and I am at 29 weeks. I have had 2 FFN's adn they both came back negative. My doc says that my cervix is completely closed, too. It is very uncomfortable, but I don't think it is always leading to preterm labor.

ABout the cramping, this is what I was told by my doctor. I guess different school of thought.
Either way, if you have concerns you should go in so that they could rule out preterm labor. The OP mentioned that you are on bedrest. Did they give you a FFN test? If so, only if it comes up negative, it is reassuring that you will not go into preterm labor within two weeks.

It wouldn't hurt to put a call in to the doctor. I have had cramping and for the most part it has been uterine irritability. However it has also been contractions.
Cramping is normal in the third trimester as you get bigger and heavier, but it is always a good idea to go get checked out.
