Help! Static issues
I just bought this dress from BCBG for a few events I have:
The problem is that the chiffon overlay is SUPER static-y!! It's sticking to the dress and the bag...everything.
I tried putting a safety pin on the liner, and that didn't work.
Is there anything else I can do besides Static guard? I don't want to have that gluey smell all night.

hairspray works too! just buy unscented aerosol hairspray.

Try a rubbing a metal hangar on the material. That may work, or lightly rubbing a fabric softener sheet on it.
