My puppy is eating the Wee-Wee pad!
Did anyone ever have this problem? She is paper trained and I will probably keep her an inside chihuhua.
She drags the pad into her crate and eats it!

my dog always shredded them. so he is trained to go outside.

Yes, Ollie shredded her wee wee pads. Everyday I came home from work there'd be wee wee pad ALL over. Finally we bought the reusable ones and love it

Lola did this too - it was a toy.
She never actually weed on it !!
So she goes outside now.

Did you ever try and get the wee wee pad holder/tray? That might help. My pup used to do it also, but only for a very short time when we first got her.

I couldn't stop her from ripping them apart. At that point, I start training her to go outside. SHe is fully house trained now and we are so much happier. I hated those pads!!!

My fur sister, a chihuhua, also did this when she was a puppy. She also liked to pick it up in her mouth and run around around the house like a lunatic with it.
We wound up putting weights on it so she couldn't move the wee wee pad. She stopped after a while and we eventually removed the weights.

Yup...mine would play with it and rip it to shreds. He learned to go outside....which, I am very happy about!

mine did it too for a point in time... some very swift smacks to their bottoms as well as the silent treatment and they got over it after a while
