Pet owner rant

So I was at the vet this morning because one of my pugs has a growth on her paw that got infected and we wanted it checked out.

Two girls come in with their dog. They were an hour late for their appt, mind you, and were pissy because they were then told they "had to wait".

They then proceed to argue with the receptionist because she says "she'll squeeze them in" but they need an exam as well..........the one girl is like "I only want shots though, why do I need to pay extra?!".

The poor receptionist is like "You haven't been here in 6 months it's routine to have an exam to make sure you dog is okay".

The girl is just not getting it and arguing back and forth with the receptionist.

I don't know what ended up happening because we got called in next, but this just irritated me for some reason. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones raging!

I don't think it has anything to do with pg hormones - that would annoy me too. Obviously this girl thinks she is so important to think that appointments are just formalities and that the vet should just wait around for when she feels like showing up.
