How are we feeling??!

I think one of us has already gone to the big show...is anyone else getting close? Let's get some updates!

I go for my first internal next Thursday! It's finally setting in that this is really happening! At my last growth sono (33weeks), was measuring 4lbs 10oz with a nice strong heartbeat.
We havent' finished the room yet, but I did start gathering some items for my hospital bag. I'd like to get both the room and the bag completed by the end of this weekend.
I can't believe it's getting so close!

I still feel good, but I'm definitely slowing down. It's hard work carrying this big belly around! but I love every minute of it!!

The nursery is not done either! I am freaking out a bit. My scheduled c-section is the first week of January. I went to my obgyn yesterday and my blood pressure is elevated (140/80) but no protein in urine. However, I did get a maternal blood panel done. So I will find out the results soon. I went to my primary doctor for an annual and was told that my Cholesterol is high. NOrmal values up to 199 and mine is at 300. So now, not only do I have to worry about GD but now, the Cholesterol.

But, other than that, I feel fine! How is everyone else?

i am 100% effaced and was 1cm as of Monday

Dr. said at least another week, but def. before the new year

I'm 33 1/2 weeks along, and up 4lbs total. The baby is weighing in around 5.5lbs and my cervix is high and closed.

My doc still estimates that I'll deliver close to the 1/24 due date.

I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to meet my little nugget .

Im 35 weeks.

Dr wants to monitor me very closely as I have been having INSANE swelling and my blood pressure is elevated. He thought it would be best if I stopped working, but agreed that I can do another week to make it to the holiday break if I monitor my symtoms. I seriously doubt I will be returning after the break.

I go for a sono on Tuesday to check things out and make sure baby is not still breech.

We got the furniture today and I did a load of baby laundry last night. Nothing else is really ready in the room. The bedding, valances, glider etc are arriving sometime in the next week.

I'll be 35 weeks on Friday and have my ob appt on Saturday which I think she might do an internal. Yesterday I had my follow up for the fetal ecko cardio gram and everything looks good. Shaylie weighs 4lbs 5oz. Last week when I went to my ob, she was happy with my bp and hopefully it will continue being normal, but she did say that if he goes up, she might induce me. Everything is still up in the air with inducing and a possible c-section. When I go for my next growth sono next week, I guess that will determine a lot of things.

I had my shower on Sunday and Shaylie made out like a bandit. I can't believe the amount of clothes this kid has. Its unbelieveable. My mom is putting up the border probably next week in her room and this weekend we're paying off the furniture. We were going to have the furniture delivered right after Shaylie's birth, but I'm kind of reconsidering it. I would feel better knowing that everything was in place.

Dragging my feet on getting down our baby stuff, since my house looks like Christmas blew up in it - LOL...We are going to do it this week-end though..With # 1 we were so prepared and everything was out in the open, nice and new...this time we are trying to remember where we put everything from 3 years ago ...My hospital bag is packed, just in case...At my 33w sono, baby was weighing in at 5.6 lbs , so another big baby on the way...All the clothes are washed ( all DS's gender neutral things anyway), and we are trying to transition my DS out of the nursery, even though will be with us in our room for a bit....Feeling VERY big, and get comments from strangers daily that I'm ready !...Still spotting daily, but thats old news by now...Can't wait to meet our little Boo !

nursery is pretty much done, all that's left is to install the video monitor.

car seat needs to be installed

hospital bag needs to be packed.

thought I'd do a quick update, had my first internal yesterday. There is nothing going on, which I guess is a good thing.

I go back next Tuesday.

I go for my first internal Tuesday, not really looking forward to it. Unless of course she is telling me, Im done and can go to the hospital.

My back is much better than it has been, now its my feet. The resemble my 82 yr old grandmas So I have to stop a few times during the day and put them up.

I am packed with all our stuff for the hospital. I just have to pick up some pillows to take. His under clothes are all washed, beds done, p PnP up. Im as ready as I can get... I think.

My main concern now is getting him out, and not feeling any pain.

Well, I have my internal tomorrow. Dying to know if there is any progress. I'm pretty exhausted and my back aches, but all else is a-ok. Baby Dodge is still a beast (having another growth sono next week). Nursery is almost 100% done (just need to put away Christmas boxes).

I still have to pack my bag and we have to install the car seats. This is on the plans for Saturday.

Good news is my mom for Christmas bought us a new sectional (great deal at Raymore & Flannigan Clearance Center) so it gets delivered Saturday. That's good news.

Only 4 more weeks to go. OMG!!!

Not sure if baby is beginning to drop, but just yesterday I started feeling some pressure in vay-jay-jay area. Find out tomorrow!!

Last Saturday I had my internal and everything was closed up, but Shaylie dropped a little bit. The doctor and I talked about a birth plan. I have a fibroid in the back of my uterus that is about the size of Shaylie's head. She gave me my options or either vaginal or c-section delivery. I opted for the c-section since there was no guarantee that I would be able to push her out on my own and that the doctor wasn't going to let me work that hard in pushing because of my bp. I'm scheduling my c-section for January 9th.
