Lime on the Lawn & Dogs?

DH FINALLY agreed to hire a landscaper - He came and did the Fall cleanup and put lime all over the front/back lawns .......

I'm assuming I have to wait for a good rain to soak that stuff into the soil before letting my Yorkie run around and do her business on our lawn? (we already blew out the sprinklers)

Or no?

I've been carrying her to the street so she doesn't get on her paws, and walking her ..........but letting her run out the back door is SOOOOOOO much easier ........

I think you should wait for it to soak in. Our landscapers always tell us when they sprinkle something so that we keep Cooper off the lawn.. they usually put up small signs too.

I would keep her off.
