This is going to be a long 7 months

I am so concerned with every little thing. Sorry if TMI....Everytime I go to the bathroom my underwear are discolored. Like a yellow tinge. It is totally dry but I have also been noticing a clear mucus like stuff when I wipe. I've been feeling pain in my lower stomach like where my ovaries are. Is this normal? Am I normal lol?

Totally normal! When I was pregnant with Jack I think I started wearing a pantiliner some days since it is normal to have discharge. As long as there is no bleeding, no worries!

I was the same way... so careful about what I ate and drank. Now with less than 8 weeks to go- I am a LOT more relaxed. And it went by so fast!!!!

I'm sure the same will happen with motherhood!

I think it's totally normal! I would love to say don't worry, but I know you will anywayChat Icon I was convinced for about 4 months that everytime I went to the bathroom, I'd be bleeding, but it never happened. I think it's a natural progression. You WILL start to relax...not to say other things won't start scaring you, but hey, at least it's a change. Hang in there!Chat Icon

Re: This is going to be a long 7 months

I am the same way.

Everytime I feel ANYTHING that is not a "typical" pregnancy symptom, I freak out. That said, I also freak out if one of my symptoms is not as bad as it normally is. Like today, my reflux is not so bad, so Im a little concerned. I also am one of those who is always scared to find blood whenever I go to the bathroom.

Like a previous poster said, it does get better and I hope that happens soo for both of us Chat Icon

Its normal. I wear pantyliners now, I have too. It gets worse as your pregnancy goes on.

I read about this in the Jenny McCarthy book....it hasn't happened to me yet but I just loved the way she put it all in perspective!

It's totally normal. I think once you get pg your maternal instincts kick in and you worry about every little thing. I use to say some days, oh this doesn't hurt today or how come I don't feel sick today...could something be wrong?! I think we all go through those days.
It does get better as you start to show and you see the doctor more often.
