Traveling with Cats

Which airlines allow you to actually bring your cats on the plane? I will be traveling with two to Florida next month, and I am looking to fly into West Palm Beach. TIA

Re: Traveling with Cats

I don't know off hand - but I know several years ago I looked into it when I was moving to MI to join my DH and I think it is only 1 pet per passenger (I have 2 cats) and they limit the number of pets in the cabin. I do think you have to sign them up by a certain date maybe something like 30 days in advance and I think you have to have proof of shots etc.

It should say somewhere on the airlines websites about their protocol if you go to each individual ones. I would check out the major lines.

Etd to add Jet blue does - there is a link right on their front page in small font

Thanks! I am taking them both to the vet and I have a friend who is willing to fly with me!

Re: Traveling with Cats

I flew on Jetblue with my cat last year. I made sure all of her shots and everything were up to date, but no one ever asked for anything. It is definitely one pet per person and only a certain number of pets allowed on each flight - so call early!
