Cufflinks HELP!

I want to get these cute silk Vera Bradley cufflinks for a couple of my attorneys whom I've worked with forever, and all they have are design ones.

My question is, can they wear patterned cufflinks with lets say a solid tie of the same color? I don't want to get them something that is hard to match.

Here are a few designs I'm thinking about.

cufflinks do not have to match shirt or tie.

Thats what I thought...and thats what I saw before, I've been with them for a while so I kind of know their style. But I was wondering if there were any pros out there that could confirm this.

Re: Cufflinks HELP!

I think they're awesome, and I've always seen men wear funky cufflinks (showing their personality) that do not match their tie.

Think of all the silver or gold ones they wear...never match their tie!

I think they're cool if these guys have the flair to pull it off! I like the first and last ones best--I think they'd be easiest to coordinate with!
