how far in advance can i make this??? i want to bring it over to my SIL for thanksgiving. i have a recipe but it doesn't say when how in advance i can start making the dish.

I think a day or two is fine. As long as you keep it refrigerated. The closer to thanksgiving the better... JMO b/c I love the taste of fresh cakes.

I wouldn't do it more than 24 hours because the cream can start to seperate and water down.....
I make tiramisu A LOT

thanks. do you make yours with ladyfingers??? cause i found a recipe in a betty crocker book that has you make a hot milk sponge cake.
