Nuchal translucency screen
I'm a little frustrated with my OB office. For some reason at my 8 week appt they failed to mention to me that I had to set up a time for my 11-13 week nuchal translucency. Ugh I hope there will be appointments available that I can go to, as well as my DH!
So anyway my question is- if you did this test, did you do it in your OB's office or go outside? I have to go to an outside office, so I was wondering if that was typical or not.

My OB does not do sono's in their office, and my insurance wouldn't cover it if they did. I had to go to an outside facility. They should be able to refer you somewhere.

My doctor's office has a sono machine and tech on staff. The bloodwork was sent out to a lab about 2 weeks before the sono, but I had the sono in the office.

my doc's office does them. They have a separate ultrasound tech that works in each of their offices...

Although my OB's office does do sonograms - for this test I was sent to a sono lab
