NPR but this is where i post :(

Im really upset....my mother has been having problems with her eyes lately, so shes had to undergo a few surgeries in the last month or two between caterac surgery (which is fairly routine) and then she had a ruptured membrane or something too, so thats whats causing so many problems..she had the last surgery and was supposed to be fully recovered in 2 days, this was last week...at my shower yesterday she still could NOT see..she went back to the dr friday and they told her that she was to undergo one more surgery that if it didnt work, she would never see again my is due in just a few weeks, and my mother and i have had such a rocky tumultuous relationship throughout the years but the one thing she is, is an EXCELLENT grandma to my son...

shes battled cancer 3 times, and is tired of fighting, tired of going through these things, and is VERY depressed..

i cant imagine her not being able to see my dd...or see my ds ever again for that matter..
i really am pretty distraught..i even think shes starting to show some signs of mental derangement,,shes just not right..and yesterday at my shower my bff was asking me whats going on with her, cause she said some things that were "off"

ive been really calm this whole pregnancy, and now im just totally overwhelmed and exhausted..please pray for me and my family

thank you everyone and for the FM'S just getting alil overwhelmed..and i just want my mother to be able to enjoy this..my dd is her first granddaughter..and shes just had it so tough lately..
