Do I call the doctors today? When will I get an appt? What will go on at the appt?

I'm so lost sorry.

I called the doctor the day of my BFP, but they wouldn't see me til 7 or 8 weeks. Start taking your prenatals if you haven't already, and congrats!

The first appt for me was taking blood and urine sample, and then just a lot of questions with the doctor. A bunch of medical history things, then she went over the dos and don'ts, and we got a chance to ask any questions. My first sono will not be til nearly 12 weeks.

I would call and make an appointment. My doc wouldn't see me until 6 weeks. When I went they did an internal sono and we saw the heartbeat. They didn't draw my blood until 2 weeks later.

I called both pregnancies right away and my place gave me an appointmetn right away. Didnt ask about my LMP until i got there.

At my first appt which is tomorrow (they said it's not my "official first" appointment which will be two weeks later) they said they'd take blood and do a sonogram.

I called two days after my first BFP and they gave me an appt for less than a week later.

Congratulations! I called the day I confirmed my BFP with a digital. I had an appointment 2 weeks later. As far as what happens at your first appointment, it depends on your doctor. My first appointment was basically an annual exam. I asked a bunch of questions and the doctor sent me for bloodwork. I had a sono at the next appointment. Most doctors won't do sonos until you're at least 8 weeks. Good luck!
