How many trays / hero...suggestions???

I am having approximately 30 people over for a party. How many trays of food is suggested (half/full)? Also, a 6ft hero is okay with the trays?

Thanks - I will also have appetizers & desserts out as well.

6 ft hero is plenty...

One full tray feeds about 12-15 people.

For 30 people I'd do a 6ft hero (I think you get a couple pounds of salad too - pot, mac, slaw) and two 1/2 trays. Also a full tray of salad greens. Oh, and a pickle and olive tray.

I would do 4 half trays of hot food plus a 6 foot hero - or maybe 2 3-foot heros one American, one Italian. (although I prefer deli platters - they are less intimidating and easier on people that don't like all the meats & cheeses combined like that on a sandwich) plus some salads.

I just got a 4 ft hero from King Kullen. It fed 20 people. You will be fine with the 6ft and some dishes!

For my DH's 40th I had a 6 ft hero. Full trays of Lemon Chicken, eggplant rollatini, penne ala vodka, wings (100), salad w/gorgonzola cheese, walnuts & balsamic vinagrette, shrimp tray from Costco, chips, dips, and a few other apps. I had More than enough food. We had about 40 people
