Agree 100%. I don't believe that a baby should be plopped in front of a television even for an hour or so a day. TIme awake shoudl be spent interacting physically with a parent or care giver.
I wan't allowed to watch TV until about 3 or so and that was very rarely, same with DH instead our mothers interacted and played with us.......
