need some reassurance...

i am on my first ivf cycle.

i have been stimming for 7 days. this morning i only had 7 follies that measured 12 and above. the np didn't seem to be so happy with it. she said there are more, but they are smaller, like 7 and 8.

i am just feeling disappointed right now. i really wanted to have a good go at this. also, my dr wants to put back 3 eggs. what do you think my chances are????

You're still in the game girl. At around 7 days of stimming I had 9 follies, with three or four smaller ones.

At retrieval we got 9 eggs.

5 fertilized.

We put back 2.

And Monday I got my BFP.

Remember, it's not quantity, it's QUALITY. It only takes one good egg!

Hang in there!!! I always make a TON of follies but usually 1/4 of them don't mature.
When I did my IVF cycle they retrieved 7 eggs and of those 6 fertilized. I put 2 back and did get pg off that cycle, though it wasn't meant to be.

I had to stim longer as well to get my follies to grow.. Dont worry.. I had 4 fertilize 2 put back and 1 took!!! Quality is the answer!!
