Co-worker: Any kids?

Me: Not yet.

Co-worker: Why not??



Me: When the time is right. (aka shut up!)

I get this all the time, from a different angle (i.e. why haven't you given your DD a sibling yet?).

My response now is always the same:

Yes, DD is asking me all the time for a baby brother or sister, and I just tell her that mommy and daddy are working on it. And I'll be sure to tell you first when it does happen!

That shuts them up quick.

Wait first of all at least your still young enough that they ask.. People just assumed I wasn't bothering because of mine and dh's age.. Then I would get the worse of the two evils.. I was asked when I was due before I ever got pregnant!!! Because I am huge from the drugs and I wear alot of leggings and aline tops! I cant stand people sometimes!!!

DH and I have a family event this weekend. It will be a challenge to avoid his cousin's wife and since I'm bloated and emotional from the drugs, a confrontation could be a disaster.

I get it all the time...the worst is since we lost Rogan people keep asking us if we are trying again or am I pregnant again yet.
