38w 2 day Midwife Appointment

I promised myself I wouldn't do it but I caved and let her check me. She didn't care either way but I figured a little bit of progress from 36w might motivate me to start doing squats.

Anyway I am 1cm dilated and about 25% effaced. Nothing earth shattering at all. So squats it is for the next week. I'd love to make it through this weekend so I can tie up all the loose ends I have and go into labor some time next week.

My BP actually went down a little bit which is great. Still elevated but improved and the STUPID lab did not do my 24 hour urine correctly so that was a big freaking waste of my time. All my other labs were normal and my dip was fine so they're OK with me not doing it again....whew!

That's about all that's going on here. Pretty boring...huh?
