i'm petrified to do it honestly....but i know Dave will die soon if we don't...

DH and I didn't have sex until 14wks!!! I was sooo nervous that I just couldn't, but there is no medical reason why you can't.

You can, but just be aware, it's quite common to have some slight bleeding after sex, it's from cervical irritation. So....if you have sex and then later go to the bathroom and notice blood, don't entirely freak out. It's normal, still call your dr. just to let her know, but tell you've had sex and she'll probably tell you the same, that it's just cervical irritation and as long as you're not cramping majorly you're probably fine. Also, sometimes I've heard that o's can cause cramping as well. Doesn't happen to me, but I know girls on here have said it does, so if you o, and then you feel cramps right after, don't be alarmed either.
