Prenatals

Do we HAVE to take the prescription ones or is it ok to take ones from BJs?

My doctor called in a prescription and it was $40 for 30 pills. Just trying to save some $ here.

Ask for other options!

My dr at first gave me ones that were $140 for a 30 day supply!!! That was the first time I was seriously like... NOOOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYY am I buying those... I felt really bad for the pharmacist... but i didn't feel bad for my wallet.

I went back to the Dr, and asked them for other options... they then gave me a TON of free samples (about a months worth) and then I called the Rx and asked them the different prices... I finally got a 30 day supply for about $70 still expensive, but when it works out to monthly it was only 23 a month... which is about a normal type vitamin...

My DR told me I could take any one's that I wanted. I buy them Target...Nature's Made. Been keeping my Iron and Hgb up, so thats a plus. I would talk to the dr about other options.

Thank you everyone! I am hoping they are all the same, OTC or not. I am going to take the ones I have from BJs until I see the doctor next week and ask his opinion for sure.
