One of my cats just passed away.
My tan cat, Al (pic in album) that I had for 9 years was somewhere between 11-13, however he acted like he was a baby. He seemed fine, he ran jumped and played. He really acted like a dog. This morning when I left for work I noticed he was on DH's recliner and didn't come running when I opened the can of food before I left. He sometimes is reluctant because his big brother eats his, so I sometimes feed him in the bathroom, so thats what I did this morning and he ate a tiny bit. I then left for work and came home and found him passed away on DH's chair. We just took him to be cremated. It still hasn't hit. DH is very upset too. I guess its better that he didn't suffer, but I just wish there was something I could have done.
Rest in Peace Little Al. Thanks for the memories. We'll miss ya.

my biggest fear was to find my kitty dead. I'm so sorry. I recently lost my kitty as well.

Yes, Susan I remember. I'm so sorry. I thought of you after it happened. Thank you everyone for your condolences.
It gets better..hang in there. Poor Al. He's playing with K.C. and they are getting into kitty trouble.
