Holiday Dress
Any ideas where I can find a nice holiday dress for our company christmas party? I don't want to spend more then $100, if possible. The party is pretty fancy, at a country club. I will be 32 weeks pregnant.
Thanks

Re: Holiday Dress
i think all maternity stores will have a few dresses or dressy attire to choose from, if it isnt out already im sure it will be in the next week. you might have a better selection online.

Re: Holiday Dress
dont shy from non-maternity dresses w/high waistline
I got a nice dress from macy's jr dept yesterday, i am 32 weeks. It was $55.
I felt a little akward shopping in there, I just had to go a size up to accomodate for being more busty... but any high waist dress w/enough length should still work.
I needed a long dress so i wasnt worried about the length in the front coming up too much, but they had some nice knee to mid shine length dresses that i tried on too and looked great!
tried finding pics onlne, but the dresses aren't online.
maybe try something like: dress1
or
dress2

Re: Holiday Dress
Those are pretty - but not appropriate for a corporate function IMO - Well, at least where I work -

Re: Holiday Dress
Try Nordstroms online - they have a nice maternity selection - and they have dresses nice dresses on there (some are a lot more) that range from $50 (on sale) to about $120. You should be able to find something there

Re: Holiday Dress
I agree you whouldn't rule out getting a regular dress in a larger size. I was in Motherhood or Destination last week looking for a dress and they looked so frumpy on me. They were expensive also, IMO. I went into Macy's but just didn't find anything. I ended up buying a dress in a larger size from Dress Barn for $40. It's a very flattering style!
