A dog at acupuncture?
Euw Euw Euw.
I was sitting in the waiting room and notice the woman next to me is making baby noises - "what are you doing little pooky?" "are you trying to jump off?" "smooch smooch smooth" - as loud as can be.
I thought, hey, maybe she's crazy, until I looked over and she had a little dog on her lap.
Come on now!!

Re: A dog at acupuncture?
I am guilty of talking to my dog like that all the time. And he is a 100+ lb. Bullmastiff! But I do not bring him to my acupuncture appts!

Re: A dog at acupuncture?
Hey, I have no problem with babytalking your dog, I do it all the time. But, I mean, really not at a doctor's office! The practice holds several different type of doctors, and the patients waiting in the waiting area usually have some really severe injuries and/or illnesses. I think it's just beyond rude and thoughtless to bring a dog into that kind of environment.

Now if anyone knows me they know I am I love with my my dog.. I would take her everywhere if I could.. But I must say even I think that's inappropriate.. Very much so.. Not the baby talk but the dog in office is not right..

Re: A dog at acupuncture?
When I first read the title of your post, I thought you meant the dog was getting acupuncture.
The dog definitely did not belong in the waiting room!!

I also thought the dog was getting acupunture. But I saw an episode of Breed All About It on Animal Planet that sometimes on big dogs they do acupuncutre to help the hips, etc.
By the way, I am completely guilty of talking to both my dogs and my cat like that. The dogs are huge.
