HSG

Hello
So i finally got my period and am starting my battery of tests the doctor wants so we can see what the problem is,
my question
they scheduled a Hysterosonagraphy and a post coital test for the same day at 4pm,
i had already made dinner plans (dinner and a psychic) with friends for 6pm
i am assuming i am going to have to cancel on dinner but just wanted to see what you all thought

also can i go to work after an endometrial biopsy

Mine didn't take very long at all, and I felt okay enough to go out after.

I'm surprised they would schedule you for a post coital and an HSG on the same day. From what I was told and experienced, the post coital was done the day following your LH surge and you have to BD the night before. The HSG had to be done before a possible surge/ovulation to ensure you are not pg. I could not schedule my HSG after CD 10. Are you sure they are on the same day? What cycle day is that for you?

As for the endo biopsy, I had severe cramping and almost fainted after mine, so I would not have been able to go back to work. Maybe I just had a bad reaction, I'm not sure.

i actually got it wrong and of course you ladies are correct
my hsg is tomorrow cd 7 and the hysterosonography is the same day as the post coital test cd15
alot of these terms sound the same and i got confused

im just gonna see how i feel that day

You can still go out to dinner after...it's not a big deal at all.

i had the hsg today and my dh drove me to work afterward, so as long as the timing is okay i'm sure i'll be okay to go to dinner
