Did my first Lupron injection this morning
It did not hurt at all. Is it supposed to? I should mention I have more than a little extra meat on my bones (not sure if that makes a difference).

Nope, the lupron shot doesn't hurt me at all either. The stimulating drugs, follistim and menopur, those sting a little...

The only shots that hurt me are the Progesterone.. In the butt.. In the belly ones I am fine..

ITA! The menopur stung going in. It didn't really have anything to do with the needle, but more the medicine going in. Good luck!

Nope! They don't hurt! IT is sooooo much easier then you think... right?!?!?
I had a entire procedure every-time I did the PIO so that didn't hurt me either!!! hahaha lol...
Ice the area for 10 mins, while the PIO in the needle was in between a heating pad heating up, then my DH did the shot, then I would lay down on the heating pad for 10 mins! I never really felt it or felt any pain or soreness afterwards!
Good Luck! The process is MUCH more overwhelming then it really is!

CarlieJLD7, I like your process. I think I will do the same when the time comes.
I just think we get ourselves so worked up and its really nothing. I only asked because I wanted to be sure I was doing it right. Today, I think I did it a little too slow. It still did not hurt but I have a very tiny cut in the area as opposed to yesterday when I only had a dot.
I think the worst part about this is actually the emotional aspect of it all rather than the pain.
