Marissa - just tell her you're sorry but that doesn't work for you - you already have plans. Dont elaborate on what your "plans" were - they were spending the day with only your Ryans. If she asks, go deaf, DON'T ANSWER the question. Say you're sorry it didn't work out but you were home all day today & available - and SIL & FIL will have to see the baby another time.

You have plans tomorrow...YOUR family...don't tell her what you're doing....just that you're going to be busy the whole day.
I take it, she didn't check her e-mail???

agree with everyone.. if she wants to see YOUR baby her nephew, she will MAKE time for him. To even ask you to bring the baby over after you've been sitting at home waiting.. is just rude and unacceptable.
