Spinoff to beta
I started spotting 2 days before my beta. Everyone else on this board says "I did not get AF naturally until I stopped taking the PIO injections".
When I started spotting, the RE told me not to worry it could still be positive. And of course, it was not.
Why am I the only one who had spotting? Should they have increased the PIO dosage would that made a difference? Something doesn't make sense to me.

Re: Spinoff to beta
It honestly doesn't make sense to me, either, but I know some others who have gotten AF even when on progesterone. Maybe even though you were on it, it wasn't enough to support it. There have been times when I was having a chemical where my progesterone was like 50 and I was on suppositories and other times when it was 10 and on suppositories. I think each cycle varies, honestly.

Oh, it really depends on the person. I remember reading how you don't get AF until after you stop PIO, but I know so many people that got AF before their BETA.
Then again, some get late implantation bleeding.
And for others it could be a chemical pregnancy.
Only your beta number will tell you whats going on.

I have no idea...they just told me it was a BFN and never told me a #. Could it have been a chemical

Re: Spinoff to beta
I had four injectable cycles with progesterone support. Two of which I didn't get AF until after my beta and I stopped taking the progesterone. Two of the cycles, AF came WHILE I was on the progesterone, even before my beta.
I think it's all random...

They would tell you if it was a chemical.
Actually, they would have kept you on the PIO just to be sure if it was.

Yea...true. I guess it's a mystery. No use thinking about it now. Just scared for next time

Exactly. That's exactly what they did when I had mine in March. Even though they knew it wasn't going to turn out well, they kept me on the PIO until I got the results from my 2nd Beta. Maybe they can up your dose by 1/2 cc this time? Worth asking the nurse or going to Dr. B directly.
ETA: Do you remember what your progesterone was when you went for your progesterone check?

Yes next time I am going to the source himself!
Progesterone...I want to say 41? I'd have to look it up...

41!!! You DO NOT need to up your dose. That is an INCREDIBLE P4 w/o being pregnant!

That's perfect level for the progesterone check. I had the same number.. they usually tell you over 40 at that time.

Now that makes me wonder even more...doesn't it seem fishy?
