Mine is. He has been working since 7:00 am this morning and is still doing work at our house (he is tiling our master bath). He doesn't know how to relax.

It has alot of pros, but I wish sometimes he could just relax.

It is the same thing, he works all day on other people's home and then comes home with all these cool and crazy ideas that he wants to do in our home.

so maybe the common theme is that if you do something for others all day, you want to come home and do it for your own benefit. i guess it makes sense but i understand your frustration Chat Icon

DH is a workaholic at the family business, working 6 days a week, sometimes 12 hours a day!

I wish he had more time to devote to our zillion home projects!!

Yes! My husband is also one of those people that can't relax. When he's not at his regular job, he's doing sidework. Next week he's on vacation, but he's working his side job like every day. It's ok though, some of my friends are married to the laziest men on earth and when I see that I count my blessings!

Re: Is anyone's DH a workalcoholic?

No, however, he has an amazing work ethic. Infact, that was the thing that attracted me to him the most when we first started dating. He has his priorities so straight and works his @ss off, however, he knows when it's time to take a break. Gotta love himChat Icon
