Am I crazy
Ok...I'm contemplating buying a HPT to make sure I'm still PG before I tell my mother tomorrow since my doctor's appointment isn't until next week. I'm 5 weeks and I've had 2 blood tests and the doctor said my levels were rising properly....but I'm still unsure if I should tell or not?

if you are worried the gossip will spread like wildfire, then don't. but if mom can keep it to herself for a little bit, i think you'll feel better knowing you'll have a female outlet who will be supportive...

You're crazy- just like me!! 
Before I told my friend- she was the first one I told outside our immediate families, because I wanted to tell her in person and we were going to visit her in Boston, I took a second pregnancy test. I was already 10 weeks and had a doctors appointment, all my blood work and a BFP. I took a second just to make sure I still was before I told her. Even after the sonogram, I couldn't believe it some times and wanted to test again.

Exactly! I'm am going to see her in person tomorrow and wanted to tell....but I feel like I need proof. Ok...you all convinced me...I will take another test

You are not crazy! I was a POAS addict!! I took 4 tests after the blood test, and HCG tests. I still have all of them!

I was the same way- 1st I took a million just because I couldnt believe I was pg. THEN when it sank in, I was taking hundreds, just to make sure I was still preggo!
