pack n play vs bassinet

Does it matter which we really use? The mattress with the bassinett doesnt look to comfy. I havent gotten by pack n play yet but still trying to decide. Part of me thinks maybe we will set up pack n play for when visitors are over or downstairs in basement and put pack n play in bedroom. Any thoughts on this? What is everyone else doing?

I have both. I am putting the pack and play downstairs in the living room and the bassinet in my bedroom upstairs.

I have a co-sleeper for my house and will sleep in either a pack n play or a bassinet at his father's house, unless somebody decides to buy the co-sleeper I have on my registry. I think I would prefer a bassinet since I don't think the pack n play is that great for "permanent" sleeping. If I receive the donations I've been offered, will at least have a nice option for sleeping.
