please say one for us. DH got some potentially bad news that the job he was supposed to start on Monday may become an eliminated position, due to the economy. We were waiting to see what our IF benefits would be and if they cover IVF or FETs, etc... so it's going to set us back if he doesn't end up getting the job. He was waiting for 'some paperwork' (their words, not his) to arrive and it didn't. Mind you it's been over 3 weeks since he accepted the job (and before that over a month since he interviewed before being accepted) and he called them toward the end of this week to find out about the paperwork. The HR person told him that upper management stll hasn't approved the job and is reviewing the department to see if his position is really necessary- I guess they're looking into making cutbacks due to the economy. I swear the hits just keep on coming....... Also, I'm off to a 1st birthday followed by a baby shower (for a very good friend of mine who is a graduated IFer). I haven't attended any of these type events in a while, so I'm hoping I do ok.
