Pack 'N Play
Is anyone getting a pack 'n play to use as a playpen and not a bassinet?
Do people still use play pens?
I'm clueless!

When we got packnplay with dd it was originally to use as a pack n play.. we ended up using as bassinett.. and occasionally put dd in while got bottle or food ready but to be honest didnt really use that often. Shes 1 now and its a toy storage box

DS is 17 months & we still use the PNP. It was one of our best gifts IMO.

we plan on using it in the beginning as a bassinet, but then a playpen when he's a little older.

Yep we do! FYI though not all babies will sit in the PNP after a certain age. My friend could not use it once her DS was able to stand.
I also am beginning to use it for his "time outs" when he needs to be disciplined. I just put him in there with no toys

Yep we do! FYI though not all babies will sit in the PNP after a certain age. My friend could not use it once her DS was able to stand.

Lucky my dd wants no part of being in it.. she cries when i try putting her in it.

We will be using the same pack n play from DS. With DS I never used the bassinet part only the play pen part and I used it as a play pen. DS is 2 years old and up to about a month ago I was still using it.
