How Soon for AF
I am 17dpiui today and had a forced ovulation. Will I get my period (i have PCOS) on my own or will I have to go on Provera again if the IUI didn't work?
I got a faint positive on Sunday at 14dpiui but I am trying to hold out on testing again b/c I am so afraid of being disappointed and I am trying to hold onto hope being that AF still has not shown up.
TIA

Re: How Soon for AF
I always got my period 14dpo after clomid/iui cycles. Did your RE have you come back for a beta check? If you got a faint line, I would call your RE, let them know so you can go in for a beta blood test and progesterone check. Sounds to me like it's a BFP!

Re: How Soon for AF
I am so afraid b/c if it is negative I cant still live in the cloud of maybe being pregnant for a little longer, I know I am nuts but I can't help it I think I will completely lose it if it is negative and I am trying to be so strong b/c I don't like people to see me when I am weak and vulnerable and I am trying to put up this big strong front.

Re: How Soon for AF
Okay....here's the deal. Since you ovulated, you would definitely get AF on your own. PCOS has nothing to do with AF after ovulation. So, since it's 17 dpo and you haven't gotten AF yet...make an appointment with the RE for a beta. Don't bother POASing again if you worry about emotions. You are going to need to go for a beta anyway, so just do it.
Oh yeah, did I say Congratulations!!!!
