She is 18 and still very spry, but lately she keeps vomiting...pretty much everyday. It's not hairballs, it looks like she is having trouble digesting food. We have been trying a lot of different medications but nothing has been working. The vet now fears she may have stomach cancer. She couldn't feel or see anything at her last appointment but wants to see her again tomorrow. I am so worried about her. I've been crying all day. She is my baby...I've had her so long. She is so thin, but other than that seems to be herself. It doesn't seem like she is suffering, but who knows. Please pray that she gets well and that we make the right decisions for her. I don't want to put her to sleep but I will not let her suffer. I just wish the right decision was a clear one. Thanks for reading.
Update 10/19- I took Persia to the vet on Saturday and they took x-rays and did blood work. The vet could not feel any masses and saw nothing on the x-ray, but she did lose 11oz of her weight since June and that really concerns me. The vet called tonight with the results of the blood work and everything looks as it should. She is at a loss as to why Persia keeps throwing up. I really wish we could find the problem. This is so frustrating!
